Account Manager - events.org
We are seeking a high energy, tech-savvy person to join our account management team. This person interacts daily with clients who are looking for assistance with our software as they take the steps necessary to plan their own event or fundraiser using the iBid.org and events.org platforms. A degree in communications, marketing or business, or similar experience, will help you with the necessary tasks of this job. While client relations and customer service is 75% or more of this role, we look to this team member to help us with written communications with our current, previous, and future clients, on-line presence, and sales materials. Our account managers are responsible for enhancing and strengthening the brand identity and presence in the philanthropic and business communities
*answering client questions via phone or e-mail contact
*new client training,
*launching software enhancements,
*account retention and maintenance
*enhancing sales and marketing initiatives
*Outgoing personality that can easily work with others both inside and outside the office
*Strong Microsoft Office computer skills, html a plus
*Highly organized and persistent in your endeavors
*A strong communicator via phone, e-mail, and face-to-face.
*BA/BS Communication or Journalism or Marketing preferred, any degree considered. Completion of a Bachelors degree is not required for consideration, but is preferred.
*1-3 years experience in phone-based client support of a technology type product is a strong plus
